Global Village Dubai

by uaeframe01@gmail.com

Global Village Dubai is a seasonal family destination that brings shopping, food, entertainment, cultural pavilions, rides and live shows together in one large outdoor park. It runs during Dubai’s cooler months and welcomes visitors from October to the following spring.

Global Village Season 31 starts on 14 October 2026 and runs until May 2027. The park opens at 4:00 PM each day. From Sunday to Wednesday, it closes at midnight, while Thursday to Saturday and public holidays run until 1:00 AM. Tuesdays, except public holidays, are reserved for families, couples and ladies.

This guide covers the Global Village Dubai location, timings, tickets, pavilions, attractions, food, shopping, transport, parking and useful visitor information.

What Is Global Village Dubai?

Global Village Dubai is a seasonal outdoor destination where visitors can experience different cultures in one place. The park combines international pavilions with restaurants, street food, shopping areas, live entertainment, rides and games.

Each pavilion gives visitors a chance to see products, food and cultural items linked to different countries and regions. The park also hosts performances and attractions throughout the season.

The location is ideal for families, couples, groups, tourists, and Dubai residents alike. It offers a several-hour visit to the pavilions—and then some—to enjoy rides and shows, as well as eating and shopping.

Global Village Dubai Location

Global Village’s location is in Dubai with direct road connectivity for easy access by car, taxi, and seasonal public bus services. The main entrance links to Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. The official map and directions for navigation should be consulted before departure, as traffic and access may vary on busy days.

The park has more than one gate, as well as parking areas. Selecting the proper entrance ahead of your journey may preserve the time you have to walk, particularly in case you visit with children or elderly family members.

Global Village Gates

There are different points of entry at Global Village such as The Gate of the World, Cultural Gate, Happiness Gate, and others. Parking areas are located at various points away from other entrances.

The parking zones near the Gate of the World and Happiness Gate are listed in the official information documents, ts whereas there are several free parking areas removed from the entrances.

Global Village Dubai Season and Opening Date

Global Village is something you can experience seasonally, not all year round. The third episode of the series will start on Wednesday 14 October 2026 and end in May 2027. These dates are available on the official Global Village site for this season.

Park’s operational times provide a keen advantage for Dubai’s cooler months of the year. Visitors should also refer to the official website before travelling,g as schedules may be subject to change due to special events or public holidays, or due to certain operational changes.

Global Village Dubai Timings

The gates will close before visitors arrive,  so it’s important to arrive on time to enter. Global Village did close entry gates prior to its last closing time in the past, so it is important to check what entry gates are open for the current day before visiting.

Global Village Dubai Tickets

The entry tickets for Global Village are available for purchase on its website, mobile application, and ticket counters. The ticket types and prices may differ in each season. Please be aware and check the Season 31 tickets page before purchasing.

The Weekday and Any Day tickets have been defined for each term of Season 30, on 30, which is presented separately on the Season 30 ticket page and should NOT automatically extend to Season 31 terms. For Season 31, the official sources consulted for this article state that dates have been the same, but do not list any new standard prices that can follow the old season’s prices.

There will also be special offers available for some visitors depending on their cards or promotions. The offers may have their own terms and conditions and their expiry dates.

Who Can Enter Free?

Answers should reflect Global Village’s official information, which offers free admission to People of Determination and a companion. The current visitor page includes details about accessible toilets, as well as parking that can be reserved and wheelchair friendly access to attractions.

VISITORS MUST FOLLOW TICKET RULES – other free entry categories may be subject to change before the season starts.

Global Village Dubai Pavilions

One of the major components of Global Village is the country pavilions. They allow visitors to taste the products, food, and cultural experiences that are unique to various countries.

The official Season 31 pavilion page mentions 3 new pavilions: the Jordan pavilion, Iraq pavilion and Sri Lanka & Bangladesh pavilion. It also includes popular destinations such as China, Japan, Turkey, the Americas, Europe, as well as Africa and some places in the Arab world.

Things to Do at Global Village Dubai

There’s so much more to be done at Global Village than just shop around the pavilions.

Combining rides, games, live shows, and food with cultural experiences, the park offers a unique experience that enables the possibility to plan a visit around common interests.

Explore the Country Pavilions

Begin your sightseeing by walking through the pavilions. There are unique products in each area, as are their food and visual style.

Enjoy a variety of traditional goods, snacks and souvenirs compared from one country/region to the other within Dubai.

Watch Live Entertainment

Live entertainment and events are offered throughout the season at Global Village. The programme can incorporate complete stage shows, cultural shows and street shows.

Please view the official programme before visiting shows as they may be subject to change.

Visit Carnaval

Carnaval provides rides and games for visitors looking for activities, other than just viewing the parade.

There are a variety of rides in the attraction – specifically fun for families and thrill-seekers. The rules and restrictions associated with the rides will change; please see the information you see at every ride.

Visit EXO Planet City

Another feature of Global Village is EXO Planet City. Supplies add amusement to the pavilions, menus and rides in the park.

Other Special Interest packs for Season 31 are also available that allow guests access to EXO Planet City, indicating that the show has also retained aspects of the Global Village experience.

Global Village Dubai Food and Restaurants

Another important component of the Global Village experience is food. Visitors will have the option of international restaurants, cafés, food stalls, and street-food areas.

Also visitors are able to taste dishes connected to various cultures at country pavilions.

International Cuisines

Throughout the year, visitors can sample dishes from around the world and by region, including:

  • India
  • Pakistan
  • Turkey
  • China
  • Japan
  • Korea
  • Iran
  • Arab countries
  • Gulf countries
  • Morocco
  • Egypt

This can be a full meal, snacks, sweets, and drinks.

Street Food

Street Food

If they are interested in sampling many small dishes as they stroll around the park, street food would be appropriate. Food is mixed with live entertainment and music in places like Arabian Square, too.

Some foods are less expensive in some restaurants than others, and prices may change, so it’s best to review restaurant menus at the restaurant instead of old information found on the Internet.

Global Village Dubai Shopping

Global Village is a big shopping mall that is centered on foreign products.

Village clothing, handicrafts, jewelry, carpets, spices, perfumes and oils, oud, gifts and other village products can be bought.

However, the pavilions will also make shopping different from the regular Dubai Mall, as many products have ties to the culture or place of origin of the pavilion.

Souvenirs at Global Village

Some popular souvenirs are:

  • handmade crafts
  • traditional clothing
  • jewellery
  • spices
  • perfumes
  • decorative items
  • food products
  • cultural gifts

If you are visiting several pavilions, consider shopping around before purchasing, as it’s a great way to compare products.

Best Time to Visit Global Village Dubai

The right time to visit depends on what you want to do.

Arriving around opening time gives you more time to explore before the later evening hours become busier. An early visit can also give families more time to see pavilions, eat, and enjoy attractions.

If you want to watch a specific show, check the daily entertainment schedule first and plan your route around the performance time.

Weekdays can also make planning easier for visitors who want to avoid the busiest weekend period. However, special events and public holidays can change visitor numbers.

Global Village Dubai for Families

Families can combine several activities during one visit. Children can enjoy rides, games and shows, while adults can explore pavilions, shopping areas and restaurants.

Parents should decide on a meeting point if they visit with older children. It also helps to take a photo of the parking area or note the gate name before entering the park.

Global Village provides family facilities such as mothers’ rooms and washrooms, along with accessibility services for People of Determination.

Global Village Dubai Visitor Rules

Visitors should follow the current park rules to avoid problems at the entrance.

Global Village asks visitors to dress modestly and does not allow pets. Its current visitor rules also prohibit public displays of affection and items such as bicycles, scooters, skateboards, roller skates, hoverboards, and similar personal transport devices. Filming for professional purposes requires a permit.

Always check the latest rules before your visit because Global Village can update its entry conditions and attraction requirements.

Tips for Visiting Global Village Dubai

Plan your visit before leaving home. Check the opening hours, ticket requirements, entertainment schedule, parking information and public transport options.

Wear comfortable shoes because you may walk between several pavilions and attractions. If you plan to shop, keep enough space in your bags or use the available locker service.

Families should agree on a meeting point in case anyone gets separated. Visitors should also keep their ticket details and parking information easy to access.

If you want to see a particular show or attraction, check its schedule first instead of assuming that every experience runs at the same time.
